Meetings
Our Lodge Meetings are held on the first Saturday in March, October and December (Installation) and the second Saturday in April.
Full details of meetings can be found on the News & Events page of this website.

The meeting, which like those of other groups, are open only to members, is normally in two parts.
First, there are normal administrative procedures such as:
- Minutes of the previous meeting
- Proposing and balloting for new members
- Discussing and voting on the annual accounts
- Masonic news and correspondence
- News about charitable work
Second, there are the ceremonies for:
- Admitting new members
- The annual installation of the Master of the Lodge and his officers
The Festive Board

After the conclusion of the each meeting in the Lodge we hold a formal masonic dinner (known as "The Festive Board"). Like many dinners there are certain traditions that are followed in respect to toasts. However The Aldworth Lodge have two distinct traditions which date back from when Lodge meetings were held at the School. The first is that we never have any speeches, this was required so that the meetings did not run late into the evening as the pupils were tasked to clear away after each meeting. The second tradition is that the menu always includes a sumptuous steak and kidney pudding, the School supplied this meal as it was the most cost effective at that time.
Members and Guests always look forward to the "Aldworth Festive Board" as they have a reputation of being relaxing and spirited occasions! Each year we hold an open meeting and invite partners, friends and colleagues to share this experience.
